♥ ♥ ♥ Sometimes I wonder if you think about me as much as I think about you

today is election day.
if the conservatives win, we will establish military bases all through-out canada. the notion of private health-care is demolished, and we'll end up with a deficit the size of the united states. oh and on that note, our prime minister will be best friends with president bush. way to boost canadiam morale stephan harper. asshole.
if the liberals won for the umpteenth time in a row, education would blunder, health care would be up, and we would still be minus a deficit. not that i'm for the liberals. only the wealthy profit from have a liberal government. any common person will not see a drastic change in events. in my humble opinion. that's not a bad thing. just don't let paul martin steal another 57 million from me and i'll be happy.
the new democratic party. well, we don't really have to worry about jack layton good buddy old pal. all he's really good for is making promises not to spend money on anything. well, unfortunately we have to face the sickening fact, that sometimes you need to spend money to get results. i mean, no one wants a mexican volkswagen, they all want the german ones.
i am all for two parties.
1) the green party.
2) the marijuana party.
do i think either has a hope in hell of accomplishing anything? no. but at least they are two parties that don't change their agending depending on what election it is. they are true to their beliefs and i respect them. not only that, i mean, come on, we'd all like to enjoy a beautiful environment, and we could all afford to chill the fuck out and join the marijuana party. who cares if the leader is arrested and being extradited to the US for pending charges. at least he's going to be calm for it.
what is canada coming to? i don't dream of butterflies fluttering around daisies and long stretches of grass. i like to believe i'm more of a realist than that. does this mean i'm proposing some sort of mystical government that would solve all out problems? no. but on the front of the vancouver sun today was a photo of liberal leader paul marting playing a guitar. give me a break.
stop leading bashing, hating on americans, and go do your goddamn job.

on another note. i had my interview for the internal position here. i'm crossing my fingers. i don't think i have a hope of getting it. i'm under-experienced, and way too young for that kind of position. maybe i'm just totally talking myself down and i have to learn to chill out myself. maybe i'll go smoke a big reefer with the leader of the marijuana party.
tonight after work i'm going to go vote, then go for a nice long jog. i don't care if it's outside or on a treadmill. i just want to get some of this nervous tension out today because it's making me a ball of nerves.
and i'm ready to snap.
anyway, i've rambled on long enough now, and i should get back to work.
